The only drawback
besides total abjection
is the traffic noise

When I first began exploring Kitsap county, some of the exurban landscapes were so exotic to me that taking pictures didn't seem like enough. So I wrote haiku to amplify my images, the haiku becoming almost like the voices of the people absent in the photos.
